As a CAD Specialist you will: Process and clean point cloud data from terrestrial laser scanners and mobile mapping systems Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for land, topographic, boundary, measured building, and utility surveys Create utility record drawings using data from utility providers (statutory undertakers) Build digital terrain models (DTMs) and surface models from survey and point cloud data Prepare plans, sections, elevations, and 3D models to company and client standards Liaise with field surveyors to resolve queries and ensure data integrity Carry out internal quality checks and maintain drawing standards Support occasional Revit/BIM deliverables when required The successful candidate will: Experience working as a CAD Technician in a land surveying or equivalent technical environment Proven experience working with point clouds (registration, cleaning, modelling) Knowledge of building surveys and/or utility surveys Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience beneficial) High attention to detail and a methodical approach Ability to manage workload effectively and meet agreed deadlines Desirable Experience using Revit for scan‑to‑BIM or measured building modelling Familiarity with point‑cloud processing software Understanding of utility detection and mapping workflows Awareness of BIM processes and standards (PAS 1192 / ISO 19650) We encourage applications from all backgrounds
