The ideal candidate will have experience leading construction projects from inception to completion. Are you ready for the next step in your career? Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR) provides fully integrated Program Management/Own ers Representation and Real Estate Services exclusively to corporations and institutional organizations, specifically publicly funded programs. Your role. Your work will include, but not be limited to: * Procure services for construction and supplemental vendors required for complete project execution. * Coordinate and monitor vendor activities for compliance to contractual responsibiliti es. * Coordinate client engagement within overall program, facilitate the decision making process. * Monitor budget, schedule and project risk items; facilitate issue resolution * Ensure implementation and compliance of P&M and PMR policies and procedures on projects * Effectively interact and communicate with all levels of management and support staff The q ualifications. * Engineering Degree, Architecture Degree or Construction Management Degree from an accredited college or university * 4-8 years building, design and construction experience in the following areas: project management, architecture/p lanning, engineering, or construction field * Experience working for an Owner's Facility Team or as a consultant is preferred * Construction cost estimating experience is desirable * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and/or Primavera Scheduling Software; Familiarity with BIM * Qualified individuals must either reside in or near Metro Detroit or be willing to relocate for this opportunity * Frequent travel throughout the region, with approximately 20% overnight travel What makes us different?
