About the role

Responsibilities
- Technical Editorial: Research and write accurate articles for print and digital formats, focusing on food safety, ingredient innovation, and packaging materials.
- Industry Engagement: Conduct interviews with industry thought leaders , pioneers, and suppliers to bring fresh perspectives to our audience.
- Magazine Production: Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure high-quality content for the monthly print flatplan.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on industry developments, such as plant-based innovation and halal-ready deadlines , to inspire fresh editorial ideas.
- Digital Presence: Contribute to the website, newsletters, and social media to grow our digital readership.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a writer, preferably in trade, technical, or specialised publications.
- Direct experience or knowledge of magazine publication processes is a significant plus.
- Strong interest in food science, nutrition, or processing technology .
- Exceptional research and storytelling skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience with digital media platforms - web, social media, and digital publications - is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines .
