Job Description As an Executive in Destination Management, you will play a pivotal role in both the operational and administrative aspects of the department. Reporting to the Manager, Destination Management, you will be responsible for: Administrative Support: Managing and maintaining accurate records of bookings, itineraries, and client communications. Preparing and processing invoices, expense reports, and other documentation to ensure timely closure of cruise assignments. Coordinating schedules, meetings, and logistics for the Destination Management team. Maintaining up-to-date databases and filing systems for all operational activities. Planning & Operations: Planning and arranging ground transportation, hotel bookings, shore excursions, and related services for cruise ship guests. Assisting in manpower planning and rostering for field operations. Supporting the creation and implementation of new tour programs and operational procedures. Conducting field work when cruise ships or guests are in town, which may include weekends and public holidays. Assisting in the preparation of operational plans prior to ship or guest arrivals. Education & Experience Diploma holder 2-3 years of relevant experience in cruise management, inbound travel agency, or administrative roles within the hospitality or travel sector Proven experience in office administration, planning, and coordination Able to work during weekends and public holidays when required Skills & Competencies Administrative Excellence: Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently. Planning & Coordination: Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and execute complex schedules and logistics. Digital Proficiency: Confident user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) for managing itineraries, bookings, and reports. Attention to Detail: High standards of accuracy in documentation, booking confirmations, and customer communications. Teamwork & Communication: Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Adaptability: Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing operational needs. Learning Agility: Willingness to learn new systems and industry practices.
