As our new Lead Civil Engineer, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning transport, water, energy, defence, buildings and complex multidisciplinary infrastructure. This role suits a well‑rounded civil engineer who enjoys variety and applying core civil fundamentals across different sectors and project scales.. Your role will include: Prepare and review detailed civil design, drawings, models, and documentation using AutoCAD, 12d and/or Civil 3D, and other relevant design tools. Civil design across a range of infrastructure types, such as roads and transport corridors, bulk earthworks, hardstand areas, industrial and defence facilities, public domain works and building interfaces. Stormwater, drainage and civil water infrastructure design, including piped networks, open channels, detention systems, WSUD and flood mitigation solutions Civil design supporting energy, utilities and building projects, including site development, access, pavements, services coordination and constructability inputs Ensure all designs comply with project briefs, relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability requirements. Coordinate with clients, internal disciplines, external consultants, contractors and other stakeholders for seamless multidisciplinary project integration and delivery. Prepare feasibility studies, multi-criteria option assessments, and technical reporting, proposals and tender documentation Multidisciplinary coordination of other engineering disciplines such as utilities, pavement and structural design Conduct site visits and inspections and provide direction to contractor partners as required. Specifically Minimum 10 years of civil engineering design experience. Experience may include transport, land development, water, energy, defence, industrial or building‑related civil works. Demonstrated ability to apply core civil engineering principles across different project types and sectors. Proven skills in design and documentation of civil infrastructure to ANZ standards or similar Proficiency in industry design software, including 12d, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering design standards and practices Ability to coordinate and manage a multi-disciplinary project team.
