- Position's Pay Range :
- $45.00 - $50.00 an hour.

EASTERN TITLE DIVISION Job Description: The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal plays a pivotal role in supporting the legal, underwriting, and escrow operations at Old Republic Title. This position is responsible for managing complex real estate transactions and ensuring that all legal, procedural, and administrative aspects are handled accurately and efficiently. The paralegal provides legal and administrative support to Underwriting, including Commercial Services, Underwriting Counsels, Commercial Examiners, Underwriting Management, and Escrow Services. *Hybrid - This is a hybrid role based out of our Andover, MA office. Primary Responsibilities: Independently facilitate Member closings, including closing statement preparation, document preparation, recording, phone and email communications with Members and other parties, and coordination with Escrow Services. Prepare pro-forma policies and endorsements. Prepare final title policies. Process draw requests, including ordering title updates and preparing endorsements and invoices. Maintain construction services files. Partner with Escrow Services and Underwriters team to review, edit, and have executed, any escrow agreements and provide information and proper documentation required for deposit of funds into escrow accounts. Oversee and create invoicing for Commercial Services fees. Work with Underwriters, and Company's offices, agents, and attorneys nationwide to refer, coordinate, track, and follow-up on in-state orders. Assist staff with inquiries related to Escrow Services. Ability to work overtime as requested by management. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Paralegal degree/certification or minimum 3 years of related practical experience with a law firm or commercial title insurer.
