Your Opportunity Our National Risk Advisory Services practice is seeking an Auditor/Consultant & Senior Consultant, Third-Party Assurance to support IT risk and compliance assessments for our clients. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and professionalism. Our Third Party Assurance Group is looking for an Auditor/Consultant to work from the Vancouver office and own the following responsibilities: Support and execute risk and compliance assessments related to SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and other security frameworks. Execute and deliver on project deliverables relating primarily to SOC 1/CSAE 3416/SOC 2/ISO27001/ISO42001. Assist in evaluating IT security controls, governance frameworks, and third-party risk management programs. Prepare clear, structured reports and recommendations, ensuring alignment with client business objectives. Provide clients advice regarding recommendations for improvement Collaborate with engagement teams to establish timelines and ensure high quality client service Maintain a proactive and logical approach to information gathering and present complex ideas through clear communications. Build positive working relationships with clients and identify improvements for future assignments. Contribute to the adoption of digital tools and automation to improve efficiency in risk and compliance assessments. Supervise and review work performed by subordinates and provide qualitative inputs before submission of deliverables to Managers/client (as the case may be) Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork with engagement team members. Solicit and apply feedback from Managers to enhance the quality and efficiency of future engagements How do we define success for your role? You have 0-2 or 2-5 years of professional experience in a risk advisory, consulting, internal audit, or external audit setting You have completed a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Information Systems, IT Security, Cyber Security or a related field. You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills Why BDO?
