Your opportunity to join the adventure In our Singapore operations team, you will join a team of talented and welcoming colleagues. You will be working out of our Singapore office cooperating closely with our chartering team here, operating product tankers while also interacting with the global operations team daily. You will report to our Head of Operations in Singapore and be responsible for seamless vessel operation and optimizing profit on voyages. Additionally, it is imperative that you keep positive and proactive communication with charterers, shipowners and other key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and issues are resolved timely and smoothly. As our new Voyage Manager, we do, however, expect that you can contribute with the following: - A constructive attitude and aspiration to learn new things and be an effective team member - An understanding of product tanker operations management and willing to learn more - An understanding that a great team effort and transparent communication lead to the best results - collaborating effectively with your colleagues - Maintaining productive partner relationships and efficient stakeholder management - Good knowledge of tanker industry requirements including voyage charter terms, bills of lading, vessel acceptability basis SIRE, regional industry standards - Voyage management skills with a focus on optimization of the bottom line and forward planning of bunkers and services - Voyage management system experience preferred (we use IMOS) In addition, you have experience with multiple tanker segments, including tank cleaning procedures and other onboard ship management practices - and relevant sailing experience is of course welcome.
