Nuveen Real Estate Summer Intern - Based in Paris

Requirements

• This internship offers an outstanding opportunity to start a career in commercial real estate.
• Fluent verbal and written communication capabilities in French and English is mandatory.
• Competencies Required
• Academic Excellence: On track for an undergraduate Bachelor degree or Master in Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Economics or any other Business related field.
• Investment Management Knowledge & Interest: Academic background or demonstrated interest in Real Estate E.g. Relevant coursework; active participation in investment clubs; managing a virtual portfolio; following market commentary; reading financial news
• Technical skills: Preferably have prior experience of coding such as VBA, and/or familiarity with Python and Bloomberg is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise written and verbal communications tailored to different audiences.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings by actively listening to others' perspectives, contributing constructively to group discussions.
• Critical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand business problems from multiple angles, identify key drivers of outcomes, and propose solutions that balance competing priorities.
• Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong competency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & advanced in Excel). E.g. have evidence of doing financial analysis and financial modelling.
• Initiative and Ownership: Track record of taking ownership of projects or responsibilities without constant supervision.
• Due to high volume of applications:
• We will only consider students in their penultimate year graduating in 2027.
• We will only consider applicants who have the right to live and work in the country for where the internship is located.
• You must be able to work the internship from June to Dec 2026.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Run cash-flow analysis for all investment opportunities (all asset class) Provide transaction support throughout the acquisition/disposal process Prepare documentation for internal/external investment committee Prepare annual business plans Assist implementation of asset management initiatives, capex plan, lease re-gears and renewals Prepare quarterly reporting to investors What You'll Get throughout the Internship: 6-month internship: Participate in a robust training curriculum, company functions, speaker series, lunch-and-learns, and social networking events for career growth and personal development.
