Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in import and export operations, foreign trade logistics, or supply chain coordination.
  • We require English proficiency for this role.
  • Knowledge of foreign trade regulations, customs procedures, INCOTERMS, and international transportation requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with a diverse range of our teams and external service providers, including Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, and Transportation Vendors.
  • Experience with export and import documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, EUR.1, Bills of Lading, and Dangerous Goods Declarations.
  • Experience managing regulatory procedures with government platforms and authorities such as VUCEM and the Ministry of Economy.
  • Proficiency in ERP and logistics systems; experience with Oracle is preferred.

You will support and coordinate end-to-end foreign trade logistics operations for import and export activities. You will collaborate across a diverse range of our teams and external partners. You will contribute to an inclusive and collaborative working environment while ensuring regulatory compliance, cost control, and on-time delivery following Grupo Comex procedures. This collaboration will follow Grupo Comex procedures. You will report to the Import and Export Manager . This position is a hybrid role, with the primary work location in Cuautitlán, State of Mexico , combining on-site presence with remote work. Main Responsibilities Coordinate and collaborate with a diverse group of internal areas , including Logistics, Warehousing, Shipping, Supply Chain, Production, Operations, Transportation, and Asset Security across the foreign trade logistics chain. Manage export and import operations to ensure delivery, optimized logistics costs, and compliance with established service levels. Ensure compliance with applicable foreign trade regulations for all shipments in Mexico and international destinations. Manage shipment execution according to INCOTERMS, ensuring application of risk, cost, and responsibility allocation between customers and suppliers to support profitable transactions. Prepare shipment documentation to Customs Brokers and affiliated or third-party customers, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Quality Certificates. Coordinate documentation readiness before customs clearance, ensuring compliance with foreign trade legislation in Mexico and abroad. Manage and validate documentation related to export and import operations, including Certificates of Origin and EUR.1, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Dangerous Goods Declarations, Shipment Instruction Letters, and Maritime Bills of Lading (B/L). Create operational records in internal databases for order tracking and control. Register foreign trade operation data in shared databases to support biweekly and monthly reporting and continuous improvement projects. Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Accounting, and Customs Brokers to ensure physical versus theoretical inventory accuracy for FPU Industrial , in compliance with Grupo Comex policies. Prepare and manage export documentation for Pinturerías Andinas under an intercompany export model, ensuring compliance with foreign trade regulations in Mexico and Peru. Maintain shipment tracking records in the OTM system (Shipment module) for ongoing monitoring of operations. Ensure supporting documentation is updated and audit-ready to confirm the legal status of imported and exported products and prevent penalties from regulatory authorities such as SAT . Manage regulatory procedures with VUCEM and the Ministry of Economy, both electronically and physically.
