Responsibilities
- Work with PD team, design team, and global colleagues on new product introduction, understanding the requirements of the goods, and providing suggestions to improve
- Making recommendations for DFM, sourcing for suppliers, cost and terms negotiations and feedback improvements to design team
- Review manufacturing programs for factory and major vendors, and identify areas for improvement. This includes ensuring that their manufacturing processes are in place, proper controls, and documentation
- Work on golden samples, sign off the details, and maintain revisions
- Update engineering documents to reflect changes in production or ECOs. This includes updating documents to reflect any changes in production or engineering change orders (ECOs), and ensuring that all relevant documentation is up to date and accessible to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in root causes of development issues and implement corrective actions. This includes working with the factory to investigate the root causes, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring that the corrective actions are effective and that issues do not recur in MP
