Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Finance and working closely with senior leadership at Public Storage, the Vice President, Real Estate Finance will support deployment of capital on behalf of the company for maximum risk adjusted returns. The position will support the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions in the identification, underwriting, and approval of new acquisitions of self-storage facilities throughout the U.S. as well as the Senior Vice President of Development, providing finance focused, objective, data driven support for land acquisition, new development and redevelopment projects. The Vice President, Real Estate Finance will focus on financial underwriting, financial planning, business analytics, and resource optimization. They will also work to improve efficiencies and business effectiveness, developing and implementing financial and operational tools in order to drive technology driven innovation. The Vice President, Real Estate Finance will have broad influence at Public Storage, including in finance, real estate, and with senior management. The successful candidate will also participate in routine business review meetings with Public Storage's Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer/Chief Investment Officer.
