About the role

The Clinic RN Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, participant-centered care while supporting a collaborative and efficient clinical environment. This role will serve as the frontline clinical leader for the nursing staff and partner closely with the Director of Clinical Operations to ensure alignment between clinical care delivery and operational goals. The Clinic RN Manager also maintains a clinical presence, providing direct participant care as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure safe, efficient, and participant-centered care delivery.
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to clinic nursing staff, including RNs, LVNs, and Medical Assistants.
  • Assign and prioritize work, manage clinic workflows, and provide clinical ops guidance throughout the day.
  • Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure appropriate clinic coverage and operational continuity.
  • Foster a positive team culture through mentorship, accountability, and ongoing professional development.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management activities for clinic staff.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for staff and provide direct nursing care, including triage, medication and vaccine administration, wound care, patient education, and emergency response when needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive care planning and participant outcomes.
  • Promote best practices in participant care and ensure care is delivered in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, clinical protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor clinic processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, participant experience, and staff workflows.
  • Investigate operational or clinical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, and readiness activities as needed.
  • Oversee clinic inventory and supply management to ensure staff have the resources needed to provide care.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal partners regarding supplies, equipment, and facility-related needs.

Requirements

  • Valid RN licensure required.
  • 2+ years of RN experience; background in geriatrics, long-term care, urgent care, home health, or a similar setting.
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members preferred.
  • Comfort managing a complex, multi-condition patient population with a high degree of clinical autonomy.
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize information and communicate findings clearly across a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese strongly preferred, given our participant population.
  • Experience with electronic health records; comfort learning new clinical technology tools.
  • Reliable means of transportation; ability to support home visits as needed.
