About the role

In the Adobe India GTM team, you'll work as a Solutions Consultant, guiding customers to develop high-performance, revenue-generating commerce experiences for their digital businesses. You will focus primarily on Commerce solutions. This primarily includes Adobe Commerce & associated solutions. Collaborating with Account Executives and cross-functional specialists, you'll invent solution strategy, prepare demos and proof-of-concepts, and build clear business and technical cases that highlight value and establish solution superiority to win sales deals! This position serves as the main technical expert for the field sales force and supports sales efforts in India.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and solutioning: Merge industry trends and customer goals and translate into a pertinent Point of View (PoV) presentation in the customer's context, articulating what they should do to grow their business.
  • Deliver compelling demos: Build and deliver tailored demonstrations and outstanding technical storytelling that connect product, catalog, content, merchandizing, and recommendations to outcomes (conversion, retention).
  • Run proof‑of‑concepts: Define success criteria, set up sandboxes and end-to-end commerce flows, integration touchpoints, evaluate results, and document findings with next‑step recommendations.
  • Build technical cases: Document assumptions, use cases, integrations, KPIs, privacy controls, and scale considerations using standard tech‑case templates; socialize with collaborators.
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs: Own the functional/technical sections, architecture diagrams, and delivery approach in partnership with product and services teams.
  • Partner for success: Collaborate with services solution architects to scope, estimate, and align on implementation paths that ensure smooth hand‑offs; establish & maintain strong relationships throughout the engagement cycle.
  • Drive value realization: Share guidelines and best practices, new features, and use cases with the customers and partners.
  • Stay current: Track releases, roadmap signals, and industry trends across Agentic AI & evolving commerce channels.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years in presales or consulting for B2C and/or B2B commerce.
  • You must have hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce. Experience with newer editions such as Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services are preferred.
  • Commerce proficiency: Expertise in omnichannel retail, B2B commerce, customer purchase lifecycle from discovery to engagement to conversion to increasing LTV, and integrations with the rest of the Enterprise Commerce ecosystem such as PIM, Inventory systems, BI systems etc. are required.
  • Technical expertise: Practical understanding of Adobe Commerce implementation best practices, commerce architecture blueprints including integration with enterprise systems and headless commerce, guidelines and best practices for highly performant commerce sites and apps are required skills.
  • Storytelling: Clear communication to both technical and business audiences; confident presenting to senior collaborators with inclusive, outcome‑focused language.
  • Architecture literacy: Ability to sketch scalable, privacy-aware builds across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), with secure data movement and governance. Understanding of standard implementation patterns such as headless storefronts, API-first design, ERP/PIM/OMS integration patterns etc.
  • Collaboration: Positive, proactive teammate who co‑creates with sales, product, and services; balances multiple opportunities without losing detail; understanding of pre-sales stages and milestones.
  • Experience with integrating with enterprise martech or CX stacks such as Adobe Experience Cloud.
  • Experience or understanding of the role of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Real-Time CDP, and Adobe Target or similar systems and the role they play in commerce journeys.
  • Comfort with prototyping and familiarity with headless frontend frameworks (PWA, Next.js, React) or GraphQL APIs for headless commerce.

  • This role is based in Mumbai, India, with periodic travel for customer workshops, field events, or POCs (typically up to 50%, depending on need). Alternate location is Delhi.
