  • As a Business Development Executive, you will be expected to work in a n office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

  • The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Identify ing, prospect ing , and clos ing new business opportunities in the commercial card / payments space (e.g. corporate cards, virtual cards, spending control tools)
  • Build ing and maintain ing relationships with prospects and clients - financial decision ‑ makers, procurement, treasury, CFOs, FD ' s etc.
  • Understand ing client needs and pain points; articulate value proposition and match solutions (e.g. cost savings, efficiency, risk management)
  • Maintain ing a healthy sales pipeline, track progress, forecast revenue, and report metrics/ KPIs.
  • Collaborat ing with product, operations, risk, and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful implementation of commercial card programs.
  • Negotiat ing commercial terms and contract agreements with clients or partners .
  • Monitor ing market trends, competitor offerings, regulatory requirements (FCA, AML, PSD2, etc.) to refine proposition.
  • Assist ing in marketing and promotional activities: events, webinars, brochures, thought leadership content.
  • Provid ing excellent client service to retain clients and encourage upsell / expansion of card usage.
  • Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven B2B sales / business development experience, ideally in commercial payments, fintech, banking or financial service.
  • Good understanding of payments industry: card issuing, acquiring, virtual cards, expense management, reimbursement, etc.
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen .
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - comfortable engaging senior stakeholders .
  • Organised , target ‑ driven, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) to manage pipeline and track metrics.
  • Ability to understand risk, compliance, and regulatory issues relating to payments.
