Senior Purchasing Leader

About the role

At Archimed, we work closely with our portfolio company leadership teams to support value creation. As part of this approach, we regularly engage with senior purchasing leaders to have them share their experience at key moments of growth, transformation, or transition. Your responsibilities Define and implement category purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and ensure continuous improvement Identify and deliver savings opportunities while maintaining quality and supply security Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Legal, and R&D teams Manage and develop a small purchasing team Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and regulatory requirements Contribute to risk management and supply chain resilience initiatives Hard skills Strategic sourcing - Contract negotiation - ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) - Spend analysis - Supplier relationship management Soft skills Leadership - Analytical mindset - Negotiation - Cross-functional collaboration - Autonomy Education Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or equivalent Experience Minimum 7-10 years in purchasing or procurement, ideally in an international or regulated environment Languages Fluent English required - French or another European language is a plus
