About the role

Provide support to the Compounding Pharmacist by performing clerical, customer service, and housekeeping duties to ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. Stocks the cleanroom with necessary supplies used in compounding. Monitors the usage of each drug. Stocks and maintains inventory for each drug. Reviews, documents and files prescriptions. Prints drug orders and makes logs for the ordered drugs which includes entering the prescription into the system, printing labels and attaching the labels to the drug products. May compound drugs under the supervision of the pharmacist. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school graduate. State of Ohio pharmacy technician certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS A Pharmacy Technician license preferred Location: Work takes place in a normal pharmaceutical environment. Travel to other CVP locations may be necessary to fulfill essential duties and responsibilities of the job. Thus, those needing to travel for work must have access to dependable transportation, and driving record must meet company liability carrier standards.
