Job Responsibilities: Provide legal advise to internal stakeholders on various matters, including but not limited to contracts, corporate organization and structuring, compliance, banking and finance, construction, employment and dispute resolution, highlighting associated risks and pertinent commercial considerations Draft, review and negotiate contracts and term sheets within the construction/energy industry Conduct legal research on various matters as necessary to support business and operations Ensure compliance with the Company's policies and regulatory requirements Assist with the drafting of corporate secretarial documents, policies, guidelines, legal templates and other legal documents to promote best practices Collaborate with commercial, operations, finance, projects and management teams to facilitate business objectives while mitigating legal exposure Administrative Support Filing and organization of documents Following through with signed contracts to ensure both internal and external compliance Updating, standardizing and maintaining of legal document templates Job Requirements: Bachelors of Law from a repubtable university in a commonwealth jurisdiction or equivalent Experience in legal work within a law firm, government or in-house legal department Qualified lawyer with 1-3 years PQE Relevant in-house experience in construction, utilities, power, infrastructure and/or experience in a law firm specializing in construction or dispute resolution Additional Information: Contract Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm Working Location: Near Promenade MRT Salary Range: $4K - $6K
