About the role
Three positions will be filled within the Servicing & Asset Management Office. One position will be assigned to the Customer Assistance Program, one to the Pre-Default Division, and one to the Customer Engagement Division. Each incumbent will serve as a Division Director and member of the SAMO's management team, providing leadership and oversight of program operations, strategic initiatives, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Time in Grade: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet the time in grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. For the GS-15 grade level: Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience is defined as equivalent to at least the GS-14 or its non-federal equivalent that demonstrates experience in leading strategic planning initiatives to help forecast goals, deliverables, and initiatives for the organization; experience utilizing a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of organizational and mission effectiveness or the improvement of complex management processes; experience planning, organizing, and directing team work; experience collaborating effectively with management across organizational boundaries to develop and implement recommendations where the proposals involve substantial agency resources or require extensive changes in established procedures; performs a full range of supervisory functions and provides appropriate supervision to ensure staff has the tools, training, feedback, priorities, and automation support they need to accomplish their jobs. There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-15 level.
