• PhD in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields
• 8+ years of applied research experience
• Experience translating real business problems into state-of-art production systems at scale
• Deep expertise and familiarity with the scientific foundation and latest development
• Excellent programming skills in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling agentic AI applications in production
• A history of building and scaling world-class teams and mentoring senior ICs to achieve career breakthrough

Key job responsibilities - Drive and advocate technical vision that drives the significant business impact - Use machine learning and AI techniques to create scalable seller-facing solutions - Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of Amazon's historical business data to help automate and optimize key processes - Design, development and evaluation of highly innovative models - Work closely with software engineering teams to drive real-time model implementations and new feature creations
