About the role

(Electrical Discipline as priority). - Technically sound in designing for Local & International projects with standards, environmental codes, building codes and safety standards. - Ability to convey and coordinate complex technical issues to senior managers, Cost Manager, and Procurement Managers. - Team Development: Support M&E Manager to plan internal training to the Electrical Engineers o Train for pre-sales engagement and ensure knowledge transfer of design methodology, cost modelling, etc. to employees. o Plan and arrange regular courses and seminars for the team. - Knowledge Sharing: Organize regular inter team briefings and knowledge sharing sessions. o Conduct Lessons Learnt sessions for each project stage completion. o (Design - Build - Operate) and share the End-user / DC Operator's feedback. - Resource Management: Design & manage each phase of the project from design to completion and ensure efficient use of resources and enhance cost-effectiveness. - International Exposure: Supporting new business ventures overseas with the proactive approach to understand the country specific needs and standards. - Procurement Management: Generate Risk analysis report by checking the submitted risk analysis by the team for its consistency between tender and quotation specification. o Review & manage supplemental material (Spec, DWG) for quotation. o Review BoQ (Material and quantity) o Review & Manage Value Engineering and technical review. o To negotiate with the regulatory agencies for building code and Electrical change orders, when required. - Design Administration: Review design concepts and ensure high standards. o Review and Manage presentation material for tender interview. o Manage & Provide audit and consultancy services. o Leading or facilitating the design review meetings and design workshops. o Feasibility study & Assessment of mission critical building facilities - Concept & schematic design o Summarize design requirement. o Analyzing existing facility o Schematic design report o Design development (Spec., technical calculation sheet) o Propose new, feasible innovations and stay abreast of the latest trend in the market. o Product differentiation - Detail design. o Arrangement of shop drawing with BIM / drafter team o Authority submission arrangement with QP o Input for T&C requirement (prepare test script and ensure that the methodology is in line) o Design Coordination with other discipline. - Energy Efficiency, CFD & PUE Management o To Manage Energy simulations to achieve Energy efficiency. o To review and manage Internal & External CFD simulations. o To Manage WUE / PUE calculations from the feasibility to the Handover stage. - Construction Administration: Project Management & Schedule Management with MS Project / Primavera P6 o Project Management for new construction and D&B project in design phase working directly with clients, consultants, statutory authorities, and contractors. o Review of construction material / shop drawing / MoS o Shop drawing coordination with sub-con/vendor & other stakeholders. o Periodical inspection (internal check for quality improvement) o Ensure site installation works are according to project plans / designs / time frame. - Testing & Commissioning Administration: o T&C consultation for FAT, SAT, and IST with Technical & Q&C department o Review and Manage End-User requirements and Tagging systems. - BIM Management: Handover submission arrangement with drafter team and project team (As built BIM Packages) o Required to be an expert for working in Cloud, Design Collaboration and Model coordination and QA/QC own work. o AutoCAD & Revit management experience with Cloud Work-sharing (ACC). o Review and confirm the Construction handover is in accordance with the project's BEP. - Depending on project need, this position may be located On-Site or Off-Site and requires frequent travel to the project site. - Any other duties assigned by M&E Manager / Assistant Manager.
