About the role

At bunq, we don't solve growth by hiring more people. We solve it by building smarter systems. As our Reporting Expert, you'll transform regulatory reporting into an AI-powered one. You'll design the decision logic, reporting frameworks, and compliance guardrails that allow AI to handle reporting autonomously, while ensuring every submission reaches the right regulator, in the right format, at the right time. Take Ownership - Turn reporting decisions into scalable logic that enables AI to handle an increasing share of regulatory reporting autonomously. - Design reporting frameworks that can be rolled out across multiple countries without increasing operational complexity. - Translate AML, CFT, and regulatory requirements into clear, buildable solutions for Product and Engineering. - Use reporting exceptions to continuously improve automation and eliminate repetitive manual work. - Build a repeatable framework that allows bunq to launch reporting operations in new markets faster and more efficiently. - You have hands-on experience with AML, CFT, SARs,STRs or regulatory reporting. - You're excited by the idea of transforming expert knowledge into scalable AI-driven processes. - You can translate complex regulations into structured rules and decision-making frameworks. - You are analytical, structured, and obsessed with solving root causes instead of symptoms. - You can work comfortably across Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams. - You can work autonomously as a senior project manager - You communicate clearly and confidently in English.
