About the role
This position is responsible for the repair & preparation of fuel and lubricants tanks while also providing maintenance and assisting with installations. Operates company vehicles with a GVWR up to 26,000lbs in accordance with company regulations, state and federal laws, and customer policies. Ability to effectively interface with customers. Conducts assigned duties while following all proper safety procedures. Performs pre and post trip inspections of vehicles and reports all defects to the maintenance department. (preferred) Must have and maintain current California Driver's license Specialized Knowledge Basic understanding of plumbing, mechanical and electric repair Competencies Courteous to customers and all staff Problem-solving Multitasking Critical Thinking Teamwork is essential Travel N/A Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds alone and over 75 pounds with assistance. Ability to climb up and down a ladder. Ability to work around hazardous materials such as gasoline, diesel, paint, solvent, etc.
