Supervisory Program Management Specialist (Front-Line Manager )

About the role

Front-Line Manager providing supervision to subordinate employees and manages the activities for the Air Transportation Division, Training and Simulation Branch, AFS-280. Report to the applicable Senior Manager and will execute the Agency¿s aviation safety mission, while communicating and building change coalitions, seeking out opportunities to involve their teams in supporting change across the organization and employing best practices for sponsoring change and managing resistance. To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J, FG-14 grade level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience may include but is not limited to experience monitoring and evaluating programs for compliance with regulations and standards, inclusive of ensuring applicability and effectiveness of aviation safety international agreements, measurement of quality management systems, and assessment of operational risk analysis systems and results. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
