Assistant Engineer

Responsibilities

• Project Support: Assist project engineers in designing, evaluating, and troubleshooting components to achieve project goals.
• Responsible for supporting new product development, new product introduction and cost out designing for existing product lines through sound execution of engineering principles and processes.
• Responsible in interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
• Responsible for estimating manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
• Research & Testing: Conduct tests, read and understand blueprints, and analyze findings for discrepancies.
• Documentation: Prepare technical documents, maintain drawing lists, organize data books, and write daily site or progress reports.
• Coordination: Act as a liaison between subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to keep the workflow moving.
• Equipment Maintenance: Support preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot faulty production/site equipment, and upgrade hardware where necessary.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) rules, ensuring compliance with industry regulations

Requirements

• Min Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical
• Min working experience in Industry
