Requirements

• Kentucky licensure allowing for autonomous functioning

Grade 7 (Salaried) Position Description: The Counseling Center in the division of Student Affairs at the University of Louisville is seeking to hire a Counselor II. The Counselor provides licensed therapeutic services for student patients including individual, group, and couples counseling and crisis intervention. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides triages/intakes Provides individual, group, and couples counseling to students, both in-person and via a telehealth platform Prepares accurate and timely patient records, evaluations, and reports and completes documentation in accordance with professional and ethical standards Consults and collaborates with supervisors and peers, Campus Health providers, Care and Conducts staff as necessary, as well as external agencies if necessary Participates in outreach initiatives such as resource fairs and department presentations Provides clinical supervision to one or more graduate student trainees as required, in compliance with licensing board requirements for the position Represents the Counseling Center on University and divisional committees
