Amazon LEO is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems. This role is hands-on and focused on rapid fault isolation, preventive maintenance execution, safe repair practices, and supporting team capability through on-the-job knowledge sharing. Work Schedule- Monday though Friday. 7am-3:30pm Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems to minimize equipment downtime - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, servos, conveyors, VFDs, PLC-connected equipment, and automation systems - Execute repairs on electrical systems in compliance with NEC and OSHA standards - Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for maintenance and repair activities - Assist in electrical cross-training and peer mentoring of maintenance technicians - Partner with engineering and operations on equipment upgrades, repairs, and reliability improvements - Use troubleshooting skills to identify and prevent possible problems/failures, and to systematically and intelligently make repairs - Incorporate relevant technical literature into the understanding of system operation and coordinate efforts with other technicians involved in installing or maintaining equipment or components - Install, repair, adjust, and test equipment and components to ensure that systems function properly - Communicate with machine operators, and operate equipment to detect equipment problems, analyze malfunctions, and verify system problems - Observe and incorporate safety standards and regulations required for safe operation of the system Required Technical Skills: - Industrial machines, motors, servos, digital multi-meters, conveyor systems maintenance and repair - Power distribution systems and control panels - Fuses, contactors, relays, and electrical component replacement - Electrical schematic interpretation, P&ID and troubleshooting - Experience in common industrial power distribution - Understanding of PLC systems - WA-06 Electrical License preferred, but not required Additional Requirements: - Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines. - With or without reasonable accommodations, must be willing and able to work with powered lift equipment - for example forklift or scissor lifts. - Valid Driver's license and able to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria. - With or without reasonable accommodations, must be able to lift up to 49 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach overhead.
