Mechanical Foreperson (Plumber, Pipefitter or Millwright)

Requirements

• Possess a Plumbing trade certification. Additional pipefitting experience is an asset
• Possess a minimum of 2-3 years experience leading a crew of 3-5 people
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, drawings, sketches and specification to determine work activities
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the general site specific occupational health and safety
• Ability to lead and assess trade performance on the job
• Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively use MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to work well under pressure
• Willingness to step in and help with production when required

Position Summary The Mechanical Foreperson is assigned to crew(s) to lead in the daily organization and control of labour, equipment and materials to ensure that the delivery of a high standard of HSE, quality and productivity are maintained by the crew. NAC is currently seeking a Mechanical Lead Hand or Foreperson (Plumber, Pipefitter, or Millwright) to join our Waste Water Treatment plant project in Kemptville, ON.
