What You'll Be Doing Supporting older residents to maintain independence and wellbeing Building trusted relationships and being a visible, approachable presence on schemes Providing practical housing support and responding to individual needs Identifying safeguarding concerns and acting appropriately Working with internal teams and external partners to coordinate support Ensuring schemes are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with health & safety Encouraging resident involvement and helping create vibrant communities About the role: This is a hands-on, front-line role that will give you: Direct experience supporting individuals with complex and varied needs Exposure to safeguarding, housing support, and multidisciplinary working Opportunity to develop professional boundaries and interpersonal skills Experience in a fast-paced, real-world care environment A strong foundation for a career in social work, housing, or community support What We're Looking For We're more interested in your values and attitude than your background. You'll be: A confident communicator who enjoys working with people Compassionate, resilient, and able to handle sensitive situations Organised and able to manage competing priorities Interested in social care, housing, or community work Comfortable working independently and using your initiative Reliable and flexible, particularly in emergency situations Experience in a care, support, or customer-facing role is helpful - but not essential. An enhanced DBS Disclosure check is required for this role and the ability to drive and have access to a car is desirable but not essential.
