Role purpose Planning and Managing the end-to-end Genetic purity testing including SNP & GOT Ensure the resources as per the arrival plan Prepare budget for both SNP & GOT and monitor the spent Ensure testing and result entry in SAP as per KPI Monitor the relevant KPI on monthly basis Collaboration across regions Coordinate with Singapore lab for SNP submissions and results Work closely with breeders for reference development for new lines Carry out validation of SNP vs GOT for all new lines Communication & Internal Stakeholder Management Review the SOP periodically and ensure the alignment as per the document management system Timely review of GOT vendor agreements and ensure the compliance Ensure maintenance of GOT nursery as per SOP Ensure vendor evaluation as per the guidelines Effectively manage the parent seed home farms as per the SOP Accountabilities: Timely delivery of the results Accuracy in testing, result analysis and reporting as per lead time. Retest targets Communication with inter and intra department. Maintaining records as per guidelines HSE and Compliance Critical knowledge: Knowledge of Genetic Purity testing in lab and field Knowledge of Genetic Purity, Hybridization and Principles of Pollination Result Analysis & Interpretation Computer skills (Excel, word, Power point etc.) Critical Experience: MSc in Agriculture specialized in Seed Technology, , Plant Genetics & Breeding and Applied Botany with 5-6 years of relevant experience.
