Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products to validate conformance to blueprints and instructions by customer and to company operating procedures. Conducts detailed material preparation by operating Dremel tools and buffing wheels and applying sandpaper scuffing techniques to optimize surfaces for finishing processes. Uses hand tools to grind, cut, or sand walls to acceptable limits and specifications. Uses chemicals, such as, but not limited to; chemlock, acetone, and alcohol for the preparation of parts for the next process. Prepares parts for curing in ovens in preparation for molding operations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
