Legal Intern

Responsibilities

• The Legal Intern will assist with a variety of legal projects, which are expected to include:
• legal research on licensing and patent infringement/enforcement issues
• analyses of the patent litigation landscape and litigation prep
• assisting with license compliance matters
• assisting business in understanding contractual requirements and applicable legal landscape
• developing and implementing improved policies and processes for the legal department

Requirements

• Strong interest in patents and intellectual property law
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
• Attention to detail
• Positive and professional attitude, including dependability and timeliness
• Ability to research legal and business issues and learn new concepts quickly
• Experience with online research tools, as well as Westlaw, Lexis/Nexis, and Bloomberg
• Eligibility:
• Working towards a graduate law degree (JD or LLM) at an accredited law school with a strong academic record; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday - Friday for 6 months between September 2026- December 2026.
• Start dates for the internship are as follows: ( note this date is not flexible)
• September 21, 2026
