Responsibilities
- Routine Maintenance
- Lead and develop a team of Instrument & Analyzer Supervisors to maintain and improve operational safety and availability.

- Promote a strong safety culture through regular field engagement, including safety walks and field audits.
- Accountable for incident investigations by team members to determine root cause and identify corrective actions.
- Maintain personal development plans for direct reports and craft to foster professional development to support career goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required. (Education must be obtained/completed prior to start date)
- Must have at least eight (8) year of experience in Instrument and Analyzer systems in petrochemical or industrial environments.
- Must have demonstrated experience in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrument and analyzer equipment.
- Must have working knowledge of applicable industry standards for instrument and analyzer equipment.
- Must have prior foreman / supervisory experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft: Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must have a valid driver's license. (MPC determines valid status.)
- Must have good communication skills with the ability to convey complex system information across all organizational levels.
- Must understand Management of Change requirements and processes.
- Must have continuous improvement mindset and willingness to drive innovation.
- Must be able to work outside in an industrial environment which requirements include, but are not limited to walking, climbing of ladders, ability to work in all weather environments, and use of required PPE. Must be able to take physical and hair drug test.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for future VISA sponsorship.
- Travel Requirement is 5% or less.
- The available schedule for the position is Monday-Thursday - 6 AM - 4:30 PM, after hours calls are required and support of TAR.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Experience within Marathon supporting area team production is preferred.
- Experience utilizing CMMS software and SAP experience is preferred.
- Experience in managing a unionized workforce is preferred.
