Responsibilities

  • Support the annual capital expenditure planning process by developing comprehensive project charters for approved initiatives that align with organisational objectives.

  • Oversee procurement processes for equipment as well as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) activities and installation works to facilitate timely project progression.
  • Lead commissioning efforts including testing and start-up activities while coordinating closely with operations, maintenance, quality assurance, and engineering teams during handover.
  • What you bring:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline is required for this role.
  • You bring 8-12 years of proven experience in manufacturing project engineering or managing capital expenditure projects within industrial settings.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering factory expansion projects or leading equipment installation initiatives within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments is highly desirable.
  • A thorough understanding of manufacturing operations coupled with deep knowledge of relevant engineering standards and stringent safety requirements is essential.
  • Experience managing contractors as well as building productive relationships with suppliers and external vendors forms a core part of your skill set.
