About the role

Responsibilities
- Forecasting:
- Develop and manage accurate sales, production, and operational targets based on historical data, market trends, and business forecasts.
- Promotional Planning:
- Maintaining accurate promotional planning and spending information across our planning tools.
- Ensure contracts/submissions are up to date and tracked effectively.
- Support with post Promotional Analysis to ensure the strongest ROI on trade strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply and other departments to ensure alignment on targets, timelines, strategies and resource allocation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations on performance.
- Retail Execution:
- Effectively communicate strategies and priorities to field teams and 3rd party merchandising partners to optimize sales at Kroger.
- Customer Support functions:
- Provide necessary customer support functions, to ensure optimal sales and revenue to be realized.
- Oversee the input and management of promotional plans in customer portal.
Requirements
- 5+ years of customer planning and/or retailer account management experience within the CPG industryDirect experience working with Kroger at the headquarters level
- Hands-on experience with Market 6 and Kroger On Demand capabilities
- Proficiency in Anaplan (or similar forecasting tools), Syndigo/1WorldSync, and Kroger new item setup processes
- Experience operating across a hybrid route-to-market model, including Warehouse, KeHE, and DSD partners
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights for leadership
- Demonstrated ability to align sales execution with strategic business goals through:
