Research Fellow (Bioengineering / Synthetic Biology)

Responsibilities

• Investigate the responses of model microbial platforms to different metal species.
• Design and construct abiotic-biotic hybrid systems and study the interactions between nanoparticles and microorganisms.
• Perform materials and microbial characterization.
• Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance and functionality of the hybrid systems.
• Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and intellectual property (IP) disclosures.
• Maintain high standards of laboratory safety, documentation, and quality control.
• Job Requirements:
• PhD in environmental science and engineering, bioengineering, chemical engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with environmental biotechnology andabiotic-biotic hybrid systems.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in relevant experimental research.
• A record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals in environmental engineering or related fields.
• Good written and oral communication skills
