A Snapshot of Your Day As the Sr. Manager, Sales Talent Assessment Coach you'll partner with sales hiring managers to translate applicant assessment insights into sharper interview plans-what to probe, which scenarios to test, and what "good" looks like. You'll coach leaders ahead of interviews, helping them build targeted questions and objective evaluation criteria grounded in the sales competency framework and assessment results. Along the way, you'll work closely with business leaders, HR, and recruiting to spot trends and improve sales hiring practices, and you'll join field visits to understand each business's model and strategy firsthand. How You'll Make an Impact - job responsibilities: Advance BD's reputation as a trusted partner in healthcare by identifying extraordinary sales talent to join our team. Set the standard on sales hiring by enabling confident, consistent decisions grounded in assessment data and competency-based interview data and observations. Improve interview quality through coaching that strengthens competency probing, clarifies evaluation criteria, and reduces bias and variability across teams. Translate assessment trends into practical guidance that evolves hiring standard methodologies and accelerates readiness for critical roles. Education and Experience required: Bachelor's degree in business or related field 10-ten years of experience in medical technology or healthcare in a large matrixed organization Knowledge and Skills required: Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and certification using assessment tools such as Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) and sales competency frameworks to assess sales talent Experience coaching leaders and delivering clear, actionable feedback Demonstrated ability to comfortably navigate complexity and ambiguity, with a track record of challenging assumptions and influencing change.
