About the role
We are looking for a Senior Support Specialist with deep expertise in Times HR Software to serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a prestigious educational institution. In this role, you will resolve complex technical and functional issues, manage system configurations, and support critical payroll and HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Advanced Technical Support: Act as the highest level of technical escalation for issues related to Times Payroll, Leave, Claims, Appraisal, and other modules. Diagnose and resolve complex system glitches and data discrepancies.
- System & Payroll Support: Support payroll processing cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CPF, IRAS, and MOM regulations. Manage system configurations, user permissions, and reporting.
- Expert Guidance & Training: Provide expert guidance to the HR department on best practices. Lead user training sessions and create training documentation.
- Product & Statutory Updates: Manage the application of product updates, including changes related to statutory boards. Ensure Bank GIRO formats are updated as required.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HR/Payroll software support, with proven, deep expertise in Times Software or similar HCM platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle HCM).
- Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of payroll and HR processes in Singapore (CPF, IRAS, MOM regulations).
- Proficient in troubleshooting software issues, system configuration, and data analysis.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
