To learn more about Macomb County benefits click here CLASSIFICATION TITLE: Program Coord-Housing Resources SALARY: $55,007.80 - $71,147.99 DEPARTMENT: Macomb Community Action Opening Date: 06/23/2026 Closing Date: 07/08/2026 12:00 a.m. FLSA Sta tus: Non-exempt Employment Relationshi p: Just cause subject to probationary period GENERAL SUMMARY Under direction, assists in the implementation of housing programs for people experiencing homelessness. Facilitates the prioritization and referrals of clients and ensures access and assessment for housing services and resources. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develops, implements, monitors and coordinates implementation of the goals and objectives of Macomb Community Action's (MCA) housing programs. Communicates and interacts professionally with people in crisis. Completes referrals based on prioritization, eligibility and client choice to all available community housing resources. Oversees and maintains the Housing Choice Voucher Homeless Preference waiting list. Observes, supervises and evaluates housing resources staff and operations. Provides coaching and training to staff on best practices with strength based case management, progressive engagement and trauma informed care. Collaborates with community partners, housing providers and human services agencies. Compiles necessary data and generates required reporting. Completes and maintains all required documentation, including client files and program records. Ensures monitoring and compliance of all state and federal applicable policies and regulations. Operates an automobile to perform assigned job functions. Performs related duties as assigned.
