About the Role As a Newswriter I, you will play a vital role in providing data-driven insights to marketing and sales professionals by optimizing content workflows and ensuring high accuracy in the B2B news insights we deliver. This entry-level position is ideal for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about research, content production, and tracking marketing trends. Your primary focus will be on data gathering, routine content production, and tool-based execution under supervision. You will bridge the gap between high-volume news writing and basic data management. Content Production & Data Research High-Volume Lead Generation: Produce 10+ B2B news articles daily by researching targeted industries and companies using assigned sources and databases. Trend Monitoring & Forecasting: Monitor industry news, analyze financial/advertising data, and compile trend reports for content production and actionable sales leads. Database Entry: Execute basic database entry to log, organize, and maintain research data. Collaboration & Editorial Standards Quality Assurance: Edit your own work and review others' output for clarity, data accuracy, and seamless workflow efficiency. Editorial Guidelines: Strictly follow AP Style and in-house editorial guidelines for all written content across both US and UK English audiences. Cross-Functional Teamwork: Coordinate closely with Researchers, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure all content accurately meets customer needs. Technology & Process Execution Tool Utilization: Use project management and data tools (Airtable, Google Workspace, internal databases) to streamline research and log data. Workflow Automation: Assist with product development initiatives related to AI/LLM tools, content automation, and workflow improvements. Technique Refinement: Continually refine your research techniques to enhance overall content and data quality. Qualifications & Key Competencies Editorial & Content Expertise: Strong English writing, research, and editing skills with a solid knowledge of AP Style, backed by a background writing for both US and UK audiences. High-Volume Productivity: Exceptional time management and high attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage high-volume output (10+ articles/day). Analytical Capabilities: Ability to interpret data-driven insights combined with a strong passion for marketing, advertising, and business news. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Suite, Airtable, and basic project management systems, along with hands-on experience or comfort utilizing AI/LLM tools and automation platforms to streamline content workflows. Advanced Research Skills: Experience with specialized data research, Boolean searches, and advanced digital tools. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
