Job Description: Fueler General Description: Fuel, Grease, and inspect construction equipment as directed, in a safe and efficient manner. Follow and comply with all Webber LLC and Equipment Department safety policies and procedures. Job Duties (As Described or Directed): Report to all assigned job sites and Fuel All equipment daily. Shut off equipment while greasing, fueling, and checking fluids. Obtain Hours from all equipment on each job site daily (mandatory). Inspect units for any mechanical or safety defects; report findings immediately. Lube all grease points in accordance with manufacturer's lube charts (do not over lube). Fill automatic grease canisters to 2" from top. (Black grease for all Hammers only - regular grease for everything else). Turn in time sheets and fuel logs DAILY. Maintain an accurate Daily Fuel Log, with correct unit numbers, equipment hours, job numbers, number of gallons, and vendor name for 3rd party rentals. Check and inspect the following: All Fluid Levels (engine, hydraulic, transmission, etc.) Radiator, antifreeze level and Protection level (Cap color) Batteries and terminals (clean if necessary) Engine Belts Tires Undercarriage Wear metals Crane Safety Annual Inspection Date Wash Radiators and other components as needed* Notify Supervisor of any mechanical defects immediately* Additional Responsibilities (As Described or Directed) Inspect fuel truck; check all fluid levels, maintain service intervals, tires, inspection stickers, license tags, etc. Check all safety equipment on truck; mirrors, fire extinguisher, seat belt, safety triangles, lights, alarms, etc. per D.O.T. Keep all trucks clean inside & out, and in an orderly fashion. Report any mechanical problems to your supervisor immediately. Check & fill the automatic oiler for the air pumps and drain the air/water separator daily. Drain air compressor tank and truck air tank daily. DO NOT ADJUST AIR REGULATORS FOR PUMPS ON TRUCK. "Top Off" truck with all lubricants and fuel by the end of each day, if applicable. * DO NOT leave bulk fuel nozzles UNATTENDED while in use* Failure to comply will result in IMMEDIATE TERMINATION. Lock and secure trucks nightly. NO SMOKING on job sites or within 50' (feet) of Fuel Truck or Fuel Tanks!!!!!
