About the role Please note that interviews will take place on 4th and 6th August 2026. Invitations to interviews will be sent at short notice in order to facilitate shortlisting. Teaching may take place at the Whittington Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital and/or on our Bloomsbury campus for Years 1, 2 and 4. For the academic year 2026/27: Year 1 tutors will have sessions on alternate Thursday mornings (9am-1pm) in the Autumn and Spring Terms (or all weeks if you have two groups). You will have the same small group (up to 18 students) all year. Year 2 tutors will have sessions on alternate Friday mornings (9am-1pm) in the Autumn and Spring Terms (or all weeks if you have two groups). You have the same small group (up to 18 students) all year. Year 4 tutors teach on Thursday afternoons (2-5pm) from 2 to 8 weeks in length (depending on the topic). We are particularly looking for the following tutors for the academic year 2026/27: Year 2 tutors We may also be looking for Year 4 Ethics & Law and Year 4 Mental Health tutors depending on rota fluctuations. There are two tutor training mornings each year. Successful candidates will need to be available to attend training on 17th September 2026 and 7th January 2027. Teaching will start late September for Year 4. Appointment details: CPP Tutors work and are paid on a sessional basis averaged out across the year. You are expected to teach at least 10 sessions across the academic year (1 session is 4 hours, current rate £209.44 per session). The appointment is available from 1st October 2026. This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role. About you We are looking for professionals with a qualification in healthcare or related industries, who have experience of teaching in healthcare settings. Ideally this will be gained from within an undergraduate programme, or a programme relating to Medical Education.
