About the role

We're looking for a commercially minded Category Manager for an 18 month contract (potential to extend) to drive category performance and growth across our retail network. In this role, you'll own the strategy and execution of your categories - shaping product range, pricing, promotions and supplier partnerships to deliver strong sales and profitability outcomes. You'll also play a key role in advancing our merchandise transformation priorities.

  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in category management, buying or commercial retail roles
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating outcomes
  • Exposure to retail projects or transformation initiatives is highly advantageous
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
