Requirements

• FBI-LEEDA trilogy, IACP leadership training, or similar advanced programs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, or fluency in other languages
• Has undergone a federal investigation at the level of Tier 2 or higher; has been granted favorable suitability/eligibility and has not had a break in service for more than 24 months.
• Detention center experience.
• Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
• Work is performed in a secure detention facility.
• May require evening, weekend, or on-call hours.
• Exposure to emotionally challenging situations.
• Requires physical presence and mobility throughout the facility.
• Participate in drills and emergency responses as assigned.

Location TBD Clearance Level T2 - Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) Primary Function Directs security and law enforcement functions to maintain order, safety, and legal compliance within a high-security facility with diverse and high-risk populations. All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Actively support and uphold the Company's stated vision, mission and values. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and enforce security policies, post orders, and incident response protocols. Oversee investigations, evidence handling, and coordination with external agencies. Manage staffing, training, firearms/less-lethal programs, and use-of-force reviews. Analyze security intelligence, trends, and vulnerabilities; implement corrective actions. Lead emergency management (NIMS/ICS) integration and critical incident command. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with federal privacy standards. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of law enforcement or corrections experience with senior leadership responsibility. Peace Officer Standards Training (POST) certification or equivalent; firearms qualifications as applicable. Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized, and have excellent verbal and communication skills. Ability to obtain and maintain necessary clearances and credentials required for access to detention facilities. Ability to obtain and maintain favorable background investigations. Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, resided in the U.S. for 3 years in the past 5 years. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must complete all required training. Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements to include potential shift changes based on operational needs and/or command priorities.
