About the role
In this role, you will: be the first point of contact for people who approach the council for housing help. assess their situation, give basic housing advice and make sure each case is passed to the right officer. handle financial tasks linked to homelessness, including making agreed payments. Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils are seeking a Housing Solutions Assistant in Ipswich, Suffolk. You will join us on a full-time, fixed term contract or secondment opportunity for 9 months to cover maternity leave . The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £27,694 - £31,022 per annum (pro rata). This role is open to full time , part time , and job share applications , all of which will be assessed equally.
