Team Description The Optimization Engineering are experts in our technology stack, hospitality commerce, successful distribution, guest acquisition strategies, and interactions with other channels and third-party vendors as they seek to help customers achieve or even exceed their financial goals. This is a new team and function. The team's success will be measured on how well they support customer value realization, revenue harvesting, successful renewals, and expansion of business. Role and Responsibilities Take ownership of their own and their colleague's onboarding, closing any gaps in expertise or knowledge and promoting continued education Liaison with the commercial, operational, and product teams to develop and maintain relationships necessary to be successful and effective Establish industry related benchmarks and models of success Create engagement strategies that promote customer success and position Aven Hospitality as the leader in hospitality commerce and distribution technology and strategies Serve as consultants to address specific customer product optimization needs by exposing and addressing barriers to success and driving solutions that foster value realization Support their Aven Hospitality colleagues as they support customer success Support efforts to report team performance metrics and offer strategies to increase impact and expand outcomes Foster strong relationships with internal leaders/stakeholders across Aven Hospitality; responsible for collaboration and global process development across all segments in the business. Qualifications and Education Requirements Minimum 5 years of relevant sales, consulting, or hospitality distribution/revenue management experience Extensive experience with SynXis CRS and a deep understanding of Hospitality Technology market landscape, including knowledge of key players, knowledge of the competitive landscape, key trends, opportunities, and challenges Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant field, including relevant industry experience Proven experience in exposing and addressing barriers to success and driving solutions that address needs and foster value realization Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams within a global matrix organization, with strong capabilities to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Professional presence and business acumen with articulate and persuasive oral and written communication skills Critical thinking skills with the ability to anticipate potential issues and suggest creative alternatives to overcome barriers Strong people skills and extremely resourceful Strong knowledge of the travel/hospitality markets and/or enterprise software space.
