Responsibilities
- Collaboration: Identify, engage and align with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, quality or other business partners) to capture category requirements and ensure supplier qualification and quality.
- Responsible for multi-year strategy development, execution of Indirect Procurement processes, and supplier relationship management
- Develop relationships and communication strategies with internal partners to identify business needs and align the supply base to achieve strategic direction
- Responsible for building and managing strategic supplier relationships through a formal Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process to improve supplier performance metrics including quality, delivery, productivity, and innovation
- Provide guidance and oversight of the sourcing process to ensure spending is awarded to provide the maximum value
- Lead the development and negotiation of contracts through the Contract Lifecycle Management process while maximizing value and minimizing risk
- Partner with Regional and Global Procurement teams to ensure delivery of productivity, cost avoidance, and cash flow
- Risk Management: Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, quality, and compliance
- Expected travel requirements are 10-15%
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of procurement / sourcing experience, ex: consulting, purchasing / buyer, and/or analyst experience.
- Ability to assess vendors and demonstrated negotiating skills.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating discussions and strong conflict resolution skills.
- Professional communication; both verbal and written are required.
