Responsibilities

  • What you will do as a Supportability Engineer (Electronics)
  • Partner with multidisciplinary project teams to shape supportable next-generation radar systems
  • Perform reliability modelling and electronic failure analysis at equipment and component level
  • Influence hardware design through RAMT assessments, maintainability studies and supportability trade-offs
  • Develop and maintain FMEA/FMECA , fault analysis and reliability predictions
  • Contribute to diagnostics, testability strategies and through-life support solutions
  • Help solve real-world engineering challenges, improving product resilience from concept to disposal

Requirements

  • We'd love to hear from you if you have experience in some of the following:
  • Background in electronics, hardware or systems engineering
  • Ability to interpret schematics, circuit designs and component-level behaviour
  • Experience in reliability, supportability, RAMT, safety, design assurance or related disciplines
  • Exposure to FMEA/FMECA, fault analysis or root cause investigations
  • Knowledge of defence, aerospace, complex electronics or safety-critical systems (helpful but not essential)
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics or similar - or equivalent industry experience
  • This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
