Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Reporting
• Track daily metrics : Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like On-Time Delivery (OTD) and cost-per-mile.
• Build data dashboards : Create visual reports using Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Spot market trends : Analyze spot market rates and capacity fluctuations.
• Identify cost leaks : Find inefficiencies in fuel spend, driver detention, and empty miles.
• Logistics Operations Support
• Optimize routing : Assist dispatchers in planning the most efficient highway routes.
• Monitor carrier compliance : Track safety scores, insurance validity, and contract adherence.
• Resolve bottlenecks : Coordinate with warehouse teams to reduce loading delays.
• Audit freight bills : Cross-check invoices against agreed contract rates to prevent overbilling.
• Strategy & Process Improvement
• Forecast demand : Predict seasonal shipping volume surges using historical data.
• Simulate network changes : Test how new distribution hubs impact transit times.
