Our Newest Opportunity: The Market Analyst plays a key role in delivering strategic and data-driven insights that shape our clients' and prospects' group benefit strategies. This role partners closely with Account Managers and Benefits Consultants as a strategic contributor, supporting both client and new business opportunities. While building proposals, conducting carrier/vendor financial analysis, and working in spreadsheets are core functions, the Market Analyst's work is focused on helping clients make informed, forward-looking decisions-not just executing tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Fully manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for client renewals and new products, from gathering requirements through final analysis and recommendation. Assist with carrier negotiations, leveraging data and market knowledge to secure competitive pricing and value-added solutions. Partner with carrier representatives to ensure data accuracy and integrity in their proposal. Assist with modeling and evaluation of alternative funding options when applicable. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with carrier/vendor and internal partners to stay informed of market trends, new products, and competitive positioning. Maintain accurate, current, and organized market information in internal databases to support timely and informed decision-making. Partner with Account Managers and Benefits Consultants to develop market approach and analyses that inform and support client strategies and strengthen our value proposition with prospects. Create detailed client-facing reports and presentations of marketing results for proposal responses Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as needed. Qualifications, Skills and Requirements: Strong attention to detail Ability to analyze data and recognize analytical patterns Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively handle multiple and changing client priorities and deadlines Ability to effectively present data Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Education, Training, and Experience: Knowledge of group insurance including medical, dental, vision, HSA, HRA, pharmacy, life, disability and voluntary benefits required. Experience in the healthcare industry working for a Broker or Consultant strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills required . Bachelor's degree, required; Business, Finance, Math, Accounting or related field, preferred. Experience with database applications is a plus. Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
